DeltaLand

From Cultidelta, since we are a restless human team, we had always wanted to organize some event related to Mediterranean landscaping, but the absorbing day to day had never made us decide to take the plunge. But in March 2022, thanks to the landscaper Susana Brosed, we met the famous English landscaper and writer Noel Kingsbury and he encouraged us to develop this idea that we already had in mind and that’s how we created the first edition of Garden Masterclass Spain, which it would be celebrated at the end of October of the same year.

Learning

This first edition, organized from our ignorance of the management of this type of event, but with a great desire to learn, was based on two days with an identical program, a conference by Noel Kingsbury, another by Spanish landscape architect Fernando Martos and a visit to the experimental garden of Cultidelta, with a restriction of about 40 attendees per day due to the limitation of the space where it was held. And what was our surprise when about 40 people could not attend because the number of places was full.

Cicle

The success of participation, the volume of contacts generated between professionals and above all the support shown by the attendees and the desire to repeat the event has led to continue with this cycle of conferences with the desire to consolidate it as an annual event, fixed in the calendar and especially of reference in the world of Mediterranean and naturalistic landscaping.

DeltaLand

And that is how, after reflecting, looking for points of improvement and with the same enthusiasm or even more, we have decided that this cycle of conferences will be called DeltaLand. A name that we consider to unite the landscape, the earth, light and nature with this naturalistic landscaping of a Mediterranean character. The fusion of nature with human action to domesticate it to create these spaces of connection.

DeltaLand 23′ will be held on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 October, in our city, in Amposta, at the Municipal Auditorium. Two intense days, with eight lectures distributed in different areas, design, management and knowledge of plants and three petxakutches, with highly prestigious speakers who will give us their vision of naturalistic landscaping.
The first conference that we can announce will be given by the Argentinian landscaper Amalia Robredo, an international reference in this type of landscaping, with a very important boom in South America.

From this web page we will provide timely information about the speakers and complementary events, as well as through our Instagram account @cultidelta, but we invite you to register in the form below, as the number of places will be restricted to 150 people (professionals only).
The registration fee will be €220 and will include attendance at the conferences and both breakfasts and lunches.

Once you have received the information on the form, you will receive an email with the details to make the payment, via bank transfer.
